A place to step away
The great room runs 3,200 square feet, and not everyone wants to be in it every hour of the evening. There is a smaller sitting area with tables where you can answer email, take a call, or get an hour of work done without retreating to your bed.

Chairs and tables set out facing open country — on a clear day you can see better than thirty miles from it. It is where most groups end up with a cigar after dinner while the light goes.

Nobody drives to South Dakota for the food and everybody talks about it on the way home. Home-cooked breakfast, hearty soups and sandwiches in the field, and suppers built around steak, shrimp and prime rib — finished with a homemade dessert and whatever you feel like drinking.

A classic camp, same great birds.
Four bedrooms with two beds each, sleeping up to eight, across 2,500 square feet in the heart of the ranch with a kitchen and its own living and dining rooms. The bunkhouse is the pick for a tight-knit group that would rather have the place to themselves than a formal lodge.
In the evening the elevated patio looks out over herds of Black Angus raised on the ranch. The hunting, the guides, the dogs, the meals and the range are exactly the same. Only the lodging changes.
